An elderly man, Saju, died and his son-in-law, Nirmal, was critically injured in a road accident in Kalamassery, Kochi. A speeding taxi reportedly hit their motorcycle from behind late Friday night, causing it to collide with a parked car. The taxi driver has been taken into custody by Kalamassery police, who have registered a case.
