An MBBS student in Indore lost approximately Rs 15 lakh to cyber scammers who promised high returns through online investments and task-based rewards. The student was initially lured with a small bonus on Telegram and then directed to a website called "Shippo" for lucrative tasks. After depositing Rs 15 lakh across multiple transactions, he only received Rs 51,000 back before communication was blocked. Police have registered a case against unidentified accused and are investigating the fraud.
