In Manipur's Imphal East district, security forces arrested two individuals accused of arms smuggling. The first arrest, Karam Mani Meitei, yielded a 9mm pistol and magazine. Subsequent interrogation led to the apprehension of Thoudam Ranjan Singh, from whom nine rounds of 9mm ammunition were seized. Both were booked under the Arms Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for further legal action.
