A 35-year-old lab technician, K. Parthiban, has been arrested in Tirupattur for the death of a 34-year-old welder, S. Sakthivel. Sakthivel, who had sustained an injury and was suffering from fever, reportedly collapsed after Parthiban administered an injection. Parthiban, who was dismissed from a government hospital, had been treating patients at home without professional qualifications. Sakthivel was declared brought dead at the hospital, and an investigation is ongoing.
