A multi-vehicle collision occurred at the Aliabad X Road junction in Shamirpet on Tuesday evening, involving three cars and two private buses. The incident, which caused a temporary traffic disruption, began when a speeding private bus rear-ended a car. This triggered a chain reaction, involving other vehicles and ultimately the central divider. Police registered a case against the bus driver, citing overspeeding and failure to maintain a safe stopping distance as primary causes. A breathalyser test confirmed the driver was not intoxicated.
