Investigations into the Red Fort blast reveal a sophisticated "white-collar" terror module, allegedly involving highly educated doctors, who used "ghost" SIM cards and encrypted apps to communicate with Pakistani handlers. The accused employed a "dual-phone" strategy, with one device for personal use and another for encrypted communication with handlers identified by codenames. SIM cards were reportedly obtained by misusing civilians' Aadhaar details or through fake Aadhaar rackets. These findings prompted the Department of Telecommunications to mandate continuous linking of messaging apps to active SIM cards.
