National shooting coach Ankush Bhardwaj has been suspended by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) following allegations of sexual assault by a 17-year-old national-level shooter. An FIR has been registered in Faridabad under the POCSO Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The athlete alleges the incident occurred in a Faridabad hotel on December 16, where she was lured under the pretext of a performance review. She claims Bhardwaj threatened her career if she spoke out. Police are investigating and collecting evidence, including CCTV footage.
