Actress Urmila Sanawar has appeared before a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Uttarakhand for questioning in connection with the Ankita Bhandari murder case. Sanawar, who claims to be the wife of former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, had released video and audio clips alleging a 'VIP' was involved, later identifying BJP leader Dushyant Gautam. These allegations sparked protests and calls for a CBI probe. Sanawar had been untraceable after FIRs were filed against her but resurfaced, pledging to provide evidence to the SIT amid safety concerns.
