A 64-year-old retired government servant was injured when a movie release banner for 'Jana Nayagan' fell on him while riding his motorcycle. The incident caused him to fall into a roadside drainage channel. He was initially hospitalized locally and later transferred to Chennai due to his worsening condition. Police have registered a case and arrested a TVK functionary and two fans in connection with the incident.
