Telangana's EAGLE Force and Railway Police apprehended Ananta Swain, an alleged interstate drug peddler, at Kachiguda Railway Station, seizing 6.284 kg of ganja valued at approximately ₹3.14 lakh. Swain, an Odisha native working as a security guard, reportedly confessed to transporting the drugs to Surat for a promised payment of ₹15,000. He claimed to have been lured into the trade by an individual named Kamal via Facebook, who supplied the contraband. Swain diverted his route to Kachiguda fearing intensified checks at Secunderabad Station. Further investigation is underway to apprehend Kamal.
