Amritsar police arrested two key shooters linked to foreign-based gangster Prabh Dasuwal, implicated in the murder of AAP sarpanch Jarmal Singh. The arrests followed an investigation into an April 2025 extortion-related firing incident outside a tyre showroom. One suspect, Gurpreet Singh, was injured during a police encounter while attempting to recover a weapon. The police stated that the arrested individuals coordinated with Dasuwal for extortion activities.
