A cement truck lost control while descending the Gaimukh Ghat on Ghodbunder Road in Thane, colliding with multiple vehicles traveling in the opposite direction. The incident, occurring Friday morning, resulted in at least four individuals sustaining serious injuries and 11 to 14 vehicles being damaged. An oil spill from the damaged vehicles caused secondary risks and led to a traffic disruption lasting over two hours. The truck driver fled the scene, and a case has been registered. Rescue and emergency teams responded to clear the road and treat the injured.
