Guntur police arrested 11 individuals in two separate cases involving the seizure of 4.4 kg of ganja. In the first case, six people were apprehended with 1.2 kg of ganja, allegedly procured to fund legal expenses for a supplier. The second case saw five arrests and the seizure of 3.2 kg of ganja from individuals who pooled money to buy the contraband. Over the past three months, Guntur police have registered 46 NDPS cases, arrested 217 people, and seized 78 kg of various drugs.
