Mumbai police have arrested two individuals in connection with a ₹10 lakh fake gold scam. The incident, which occurred between October 14-16, 2025, involved the main accused, identified as Dipu Prajapati, gaining the complainant's trust by selling silver coins and a small amount of gold. The complainant was subsequently promised 4-5 kg of genuine gold and paid ₹10 lakh, but received fake gold instead. The arrested men, Krishan Chand Mohanlal Waghri and Daulatkumar alias Dinesh Rajaram Waghri, were apprehended in Haryana with assistance from local police.
