A court in Uttar Pradesh has granted the police an eight-hour conditional custody of former MLA Deep Narayan Yadav in an extortion case. The remand, scheduled for Monday, aims to recover an alleged ₹32,000 extorted from a complainant. Police have already recovered partial amounts from two other accused.
