Two individuals from Punjab were apprehended in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Friday, found with 2.7 kilograms of opium. The arrest occurred when a truck, traveling from Dimapur, Nagaland, was intercepted at a checkpoint in Khatkhati. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
