
Delhi Police arrested over 130 individuals in 2025 as part of a crackdown on visa and passport fraud. The operation, led by the IGI Airport unit, also focused on tracing financial trails, leading to the freezing of over 100 bank accounts and initiation of asset attachment proceedings against accused agents. Authorities issued 140 lookout circulars to prevent absconding individuals from fleeing and arrested 119 proclaimed offenders. The crackdown also targeted touting and baggage theft, with numerous arrests made in these areas.
