Patna AIIMS Chief Cashier Anurag Aman was arrested and sent to judicial custody following allegations of financial irregularities. A cash shortage of ₹42,99,000 was discovered during a verification of the cash vault. Aman reportedly admitted to withdrawing the money and depositing it into his wife's bank account on various dates between April and December 2025. The FIR was lodged based on a complaint by the senior administrative officer.
