A gym owner and trainer in Mulund East, Mumbai, have been booked for allegedly defrauding over 200 members of approximately ₹20 lakh. Flexfit Gymnasium, which opened in February 2024, abruptly shut down in August, citing a dispute with the property owner. Members who had paid annual subscription fees, lured by discounted plans, were not refunded. A case has been registered under cheating charges following a complaint by a member.
