A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable, Dinesh Kumar, was injured in his shoulder by an accidental discharge of his service weapon late Saturday night at Kathua Railway Station in Jammu and Kashmir. Colleagues immediately transported him to Government Medical College Hospital, Kathua. Senior police and railway officials responded to the incident, and a case has been registered.
