Two individuals, Saravanakumar and his supervisor Perumal, have been arrested in Virudhunagar district following the deaths of two teenage boys from Assam. The boys were reportedly engaged in the illegal manufacture of black fuse on Saravanakumar's farm when a fire, suspected to be caused by an electrical short circuit, broke out. Both boys died instantly. Saravanakumar, identified as a DMK functionary, and Perumal were arrested, and Saravanakumar's wife, Kavitha, has also been booked. Investigations are ongoing.
