Mumbai Airport Customs seized drugs valued at approximately Rs 45 crores and gold worth Rs 3.50 crore in separate operations. Hydroponic weed totaling 44.05 kg was recovered from eight passengers arriving from Bangkok, with further seizures from another passenger. In gold smuggling cases, 1.3 kg and 1.45 kg of gold were seized from passengers and airport staff. Investigations are ongoing to trace other involved individuals and drug cartel members.
