
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) in Ludhiana seized 5.58 kg of heroin, valued at approximately ₹11.15 crore, from two individuals on the Ferozepur-Ludhiana highway. The drugs were found concealed in shoe bags within specially created cavities in speakers in the vehicle's boot. The two occupants were arrested under the NDPS Act, and further investigation is ongoing to identify the source and intended recipients of the contraband.
