In Kerala's Pathanamthitta district, a man and his friend were arrested for staging a road accident to win back a woman's trust. The ex-boyfriend, Ranjith Rajan, allegedly instructed his friend Ajas to hit the woman's scooter. Ranjith then arrived, posed as her husband, and took her to the hospital. The woman sustained serious injuries, including a dislocated elbow and fractured finger. Initially treated as a hit-and-run, a deeper investigation revealed the staged nature of the incident, leading to attempted murder charges.
