The wife of an All India Services officer died under suspicious circumstances in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Admitted to a private hospital on December 31 with throat infection and weakness, she was found unconscious on Sunday morning. Despite resuscitation attempts, she was declared dead. Her family has requested an inquiry, and a medico-legal case has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
