
Manipur's Traffic Control Police have issued 18,759 challans and collected over Rs 5.19 crore in fines for traffic violations since January 2024. In 2025, 15,700 challans led to Rs 4.47 crore in fines, while 3,059 challans in 2024 resulted in Rs 71.33 lakh. Common offenses include mobile phone use while driving, not wearing helmets, underage driving, and seatbelt violations.
