
Pune's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) apprehended a Zilla Parishad health officer, Ramkisan Ghyar, accepting a Rs 3 lakh bribe. The bribe was allegedly for facilitating a transfer within the Health Department. The complainant, a health worker, reported being directed to Ghyar by a Deputy Director after his transfer to Pune was not finalized. The ACB confirmed the demand and caught Ghyar red-handed at the Zilla Parishad office. A case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
