
Police in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, have busted a major fake identity racket involving Bangladeshi nationals possessing forged Indian documents. District Magistrate Savin Bansal ordered an investigation into Common Service Centres (CSCs) suspected of illegally processing Aadhaar and other identity cards for foreign nationals. The probe aims to determine the extent of the racket, which allegedly bypassed verification processes, allowing individuals to access government schemes and services. Authorities are investigating CSC operators, middlemen, and foreign nationals involved.
