A 4 kg silver crown, valued at approximately Rs 8 lakh, was stolen from the Hanuman idol at the Hanuman Siddh Peeth Temple in Faridabad. The theft occurred overnight after temple doors were closed. The thief is suspected to have entered by jumping over a wall and was captured on CCTV, though the footage is unclear. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
