Rohtas police have busted an interstate gang involved in fake marriages, arresting five individuals, including three women. The gang allegedly targeted overaged, unmarried men from western states, defrauding them of cash and ornaments by arranging fraudulent marriages. Police recovered over ₹1.33 lakh in cash, gold and silver ornaments, and other items. The arrests were made within 24 hours of receiving information about a specific fraudulent marriage involving a man from Rajasthan.
