Punjab Police and Border Security Force (BSF) seized nearly 20 kg of heroin in Amritsar, arresting four individuals, including a key operative and a minor. The operation, targeting trans-border smuggling, recovered the drugs from agricultural fields near the Ghogga border outpost. Preliminary investigations suggest the arrested individuals were linked to Pakistan-based handlers coordinating drug distribution. An FIR has been registered, and efforts are underway to dismantle the wider network and trace supply routes.
