A powerful LPG cylinder explosion occurred at Hotel Jagdamba near Daund in Pune district on Wednesday, injuring ten hotel workers. Five of the injured, all migrant workers, are in critical condition with severe burns and have been transferred to Sassoon General Hospital in Pune. The blast, which occurred around 12:30 PM to 1:40 PM in the kitchen, caused extensive damage. The exact cause is under investigation, with preliminary reports suggesting a possible gas leak from one of multiple cylinders stored in the kitchen. No customers were present at the time.
