Two Class 3 students were reportedly kidnapped from a government school in Dharwad, Karnataka, during a lunch break. CCTV footage showed a man taking the children on a motorcycle. The children were safely rescued in Uttara Kannada after the accused, identified as Karim Mestri, crashed his motorcycle near Dandeli. Mestri, who sustained injuries and is hospitalized, allegedly claimed he was taking the children to a festival. Further investigation is ongoing.
