Police in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district have arrested Pradhan Purty for the alleged murder of a 25-year-old woman. The victim's body was found on December 30. Purty reportedly confessed to strangulating the woman and crushing her head with a stone after she pressured him for marriage and money. Investigators recovered the victim's mobile phone, a scooter, Purty's phone, and a blood-stained stone.
