Pune, Maharashtra: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has seized banned tobacco and hookah products valued at over Rs 31 crore in Pune district. The operation included raiding a manufacturing unit and confiscating raw materials. This action follows earlier seizures and strict enforcement directives from FDA Minister Narhari Zirwal. Separately, forest officials seized Rs 75 lakh worth of gutkha and pan masala being illegally transported into Maharashtra.
