A 45-year-old man, identified as Murthy, was arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly selling monitor lizard genitalia and other wildlife products online. He marketed himself as a spiritual healer, claiming these items could be used for love attraction and relationship reconciliation, with each piece sold for ₹10,000. The arrest followed an investigation by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence after a wildlife protection NGO alerted them. Seized items included monitor lizard genitalia, red coral, and a tiger skin, constituting a violation of the Wildlife (Protection) Act.
