A 52-year-old head constable in Indore, Mahesh Charan Dhakad, died late Friday night when his motorcycle crashed into an under-construction cement concrete road. The road had a height difference of about ten inches from the adjacent metalled road. Police suspect confusion led to the accident, while witnesses claim barricades were absent. The impact was severe, throwing the constable approximately 20 feet and causing fatal head injuries.
