
Six individuals were apprehended by Ranipet Town police for allegedly selling 153 narcotic tablets, identified as Tapentadol, from a derelict building in Ammur village. The arrested men, aged between 22 and 28, reportedly sourced the tablets from Mumbai pharmacies via courier. Police formed special teams based on a tip-off and tracked the suspects' mobile phones before making the arrests. A case has been registered, and the individuals are being held at Vellore Central Prison as investigations continue.
