In 2025, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) registered 661 new cases and concluded investigations on 410 pending ones, arresting over 600 individuals, including 16 cyber offenders. The CCB also executed 747 non-bailable warrants and secured convictions for 100 accused. Public petitions numbered 6,175, with action taken on 5,474. Properties worth approximately ₹886.53 crore were identified, and assets valued at ₹459.74 crore were recovered for victims. Cybercrime units arrested 177 individuals, recovering ₹34.74 crore for 1,389 victims.
