Panchkula police have busted a drug smuggling racket where opium was concealed inside chocolate boxes and sent to Bengaluru via courier. Authorities intercepted a suspicious parcel booked from Chandigarh, discovering 74 grams of opium hidden within chocolate packaging. The accused, Gurnit Singh, was arrested in Chandigarh and is currently in police remand for further interrogation to identify suppliers and recipients.
