Haryana police's Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested a 22-year-old man from Sangrur for alleged links to a Pakistani espionage and terror funding network in the Mewat region. The accused, Sandeep alias Sunny, reportedly made a ₹50,000 transaction with the network's alleged kingpin, Rizwan, who was arrested in November for spying for the ISI. Police state Sunny's family is involved in drug trade, and the network is suspected of laundering drug proceeds through hawala, with foreign connections and potential links to Pathankot.
