In Dehradun's Rani Pokhri area, three individuals were arrested for allegedly collecting and selling discarded quilts and mattresses. Police stated that the accused gathered items left by grieving families after last rites at Purnanand Ghat, subsequently selling them at a shop. The arrests followed complaints from residents who were distressed to find their deceased relatives' belongings for sale.
