A wall at a closed factory in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, collapsed during excavation and construction work, trapping five laborers. One worker, identified as Rajendra from Lakhimpur Kheri, died at the scene. Four others from Sitapur district sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at a government hospital. The contract for the work was awarded to a Lucknow-based company. The deceased's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
