The Haryana State Commission for Women has taken cognizance of a gang-rape incident involving a 25-year-old woman in Faridabad. Commission chairperson Renu Bhatia has sought a detailed report from police and assured the victim's family of assistance. The victim, hospitalized with facial injuries and a fractured shoulder, was allegedly raped inside a private hospital ambulance after being offered a lift. Two accused, from Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested and sent to judicial custody. An identification parade is planned once the victim recovers.
