The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Maharashtra government regarding the bail pleas of two individuals, Aditya Avinash Sood and Ashish Satish Mittal, arrested in connection with the Pune Porsche accident case. The accident, which occurred in May 2024, resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals. Sood and Mittal are accused of involvement in swapping blood samples of minors present in the car with the main 17-year-old accused. Their bail pleas were previously rejected by the Bombay High Court in December 2025. The case gained significant public attention following the initial lenient bail granted to the juvenile accused.
