A man has been arrested in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly killing his one-and-a-half-year-old son and disposing of the body in the Yamuna river. The arrest followed a complaint by the child's mother, who reported her husband had taken their son. During interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed to strangling the child and discarding the body. Police are attempting to recover the child's remains. Marital discord and the accused's alcohol addiction were cited as contributing factors.
