Haryana Police have booked national shooting coach Ankush Bharadwaj for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old national-level shooter in a Faridabad hotel on December 16. The athlete claims Bharadwaj lured her to his room under the guise of discussing her performance after a competition, where the assault allegedly occurred. She also alleges he threatened to ruin her career if she spoke out. The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has suspended Bharadwaj pending an inquiry, and a case has been registered under the POCSO Act.
