Vigilance and Enforcement Department officials, alongside Motor Vehicles, Mines, and Commercial Taxes departments, conducted overnight route checks on January 6-7 near Gandi Maisamma on the Outer Ring Road. The operation resulted in over ₹5 lakh in fines collected for violations including overloading, licensing, permits, tax compliance, and illegal sand transportation. Additionally, 160 quintals of illegally stocked Public Distribution System rice were seized in Karimnagar.
