In Jharkhand's Deoghar, a 25-year-old woman, Gudiya Devi, and her infant daughter, Pihu, were found drowned in a well in Padmapur village. Their bodies were recovered on Saturday. The woman's brother has accused her husband and father-in-law of murder, alleging a dispute arose on the child's birthday, January 2. Police have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating based on the maternal family's allegations.
