
A 43-year-old differently-abled court staffer, Harish Singh Mahar, died by suicide by jumping from the Saket Court building, citing "work pressure" and mental distress in a suicide note. Mahar, who had been employed since 2010, detailed his struggles with the demanding job and his disability. The incident has led to protests by court staffers demanding better working conditions, compensation, and accountability, including a boycott of the Lok Adalat.
